Inspiring designs in honor of Día de los Muertos

Mexico’s Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, has long inspired artists and designers around the world. Honoring the deceased with a three-day celebration of elaborate handmade altars, processions and the holiday’s signature calaveras, there’s plenty of creativity to go around.

The intricately decorated skulls have galvanized a graphic style trend that abounds far beyond Central America. So in honor of Dia de los Muertos, we’ve compiled some of our favorite designs that owe their look to this special holiday.
