Ann McLaren http://www.annmclaren.net
I'm 55, from the UK and a multiple award-winning top producer with my home business. I'm looking for an eye-catching, professional banner that's not cheesy or gimmicky.
My target audience is in the UK.
It's a 60/40 split of male/female, aged 35 to 60.
Skilled working class or middle class.
Entrepreneurial streak. They are currently looking at offline business opportunities and franchises and don't realise (YET - this is where you come in!) that there are online business opportunities available which can create a better income for less investment than the ones they're looking at. The purpose of this banner is to alert them to this fact!
I need 1 animated banner and 1 non-animated (same or similar design) each in 2 sizes - 750 x 550 and 800 x 600.
This is for a UK-based pop-up campaign on targeted URLs. What this means is that a visitor has clicked to visit a site like this:
http://uk.businessesforsale.com/
http://www.nationwidebusinesses.co.uk/
http://www.franchisedirect.co.uk/
and in front of that site a 750 x 550 or 800 x 600 window will pop-up containing my banner, which will be linked to my website http://www.annmclaren.net
So, because the viewer was not expecting to see my banner, it's vital that it grabs their attention IMMEDIATELY and sells them on the benefits of clicking on it.
The colours of the banner need to match the site they're on (i.e. http://uk.businessesforsale.com) and the site I am taking them to http://www.annmclaren.net.
For a headline be creative but I'm thinking along the lines of "Starting A Business Is Risky. Discover the Income Producer And Beat The Recession".
A file is attached with some bullet points for ideas.
I need my name Ann McLaren or image (or both) on the banner and a prominent call to action button, i.e. Learn More or Click Here.
The perfect banner will make them think "I didn't know about this but it sounds better than what I was looking for".
