NYC Apartment

Interior design (furniture, rugs, lamps, etc) for a large living room in a New York apartment. See the floor plan and several photos taken from different angles. We're only designing Foyer, Dining room, Living room, and Bedroom 3. All of those sections are one large open space, see the floor plan and the photos.
Final product should be a photo rendering (perhaps from different angles).
Who lives in the apartment - single guy in his 30s who likes to have friends over, and occasionally throw a party.
Type of design: modern, contemporary, high tech but at the same time a bit zen.
No permanent changes to walls (such as changing paint color, or adding wood panels, etc).
No TV in the room since I'll have a projector installed in the ceiling.
BE CREATIVE, play with furniture colors (eg white vs brown sofas). Couple ideas: dining table for 8-10 people, large comfy sectional sofas, chaise lounge chair, glowing LED bar and bar stools, palm trees, cool large lamp for the corner (no chandeliers).
