I am looking for a cool, intuitive, modern and simple Wiki Skin template design. If you’re unfamiliar with Wikiskins, they are like themes for Wordpress.

If you take a look at the themes, currently out there on the market, you’ll note that they are all pretty bland and look like the early Wordpress theme days. I’d like to catapult the offerings in this arena to modern times.

In particular, I’m looking for Wiki Skin template designs that would fit ontop of a Mediawiki software platform. I’m not looking for coding right now, but I figure if you’ve ever used Wikipedia that would give you a sense of navigation and function of the website (i.e., the purpose being for group collaboration).

Feel free to move menus, objects whenever you feel appropriate
- Standard fonts only.
- Prefer small number of colors.

Be creative. Think what a wiki template would look like if it were designed by Apple or for the Facebook, and college generation.

Just to give you a sense of some the better existing wiki designs out there, here are a few that I like:

http://en.opensuse.org/Contact (It'd be great if someone submitted a design inspired by the opensuse design, but a little more ipod like).

http://wiki.mozilla.org/Main_Page

http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Setting_up_extension_development_environment

http://www.olpc.at/mediawiki/index.php/Shiki_Wiki - I like the graphical edit, history and article editing buttons on this standard wiki template

http://download.xdrive.com/s/7029604168g4ftbF3sMQlqoBAHuC&partner=plus - This is a link to a jpeg of screen shot of dialog box on another webpage that i thought was really cool and might be nice to inspire a modern Ipodesque wiki theme. A submission that took the coolness and look of feel of tailored it for a wiki would be awesome.

Winner must supply vector file and inform contest holder of fonts and all other details. The winner will transfer all rights to the design to the contest holder upon payment of the prize.

The design should have all the following sections like you would find on wikipedia but you can feel free to move menus, objects etc.
