    SB -
Could you leave some feedback for the designers,
so that we can make revisions to suit your project?

    It'd really help!

http://senduit.com/58b5c5 OK so here is the link to the logo. now that i am clearer on what a coded website is and everyone should be somewhat clearer as to what i am looking for thanks to Nadia's help, i am going to leave it open for another day. if my price is too low (which it sounds like) and i dont get any more response then i will cancel the contest. i am obviously trying to save money but am not necessarily trying to low ball. if the amount offered is not enough for a functioning site just let me know.

PS: "but right now, there is no such category, but admin staff is being lenient as long as the contest holder/designer can work out the final outcome between them."

To be a bit clear about the above statement: that the designers that submit an entry realise that the contest is for a coded website (complete package) and will supply a design and fully working website to the contest holder after a winner for the design portion has been decided. The designer should also be able to provide some links to the contest holder to show their coding ability..

After a PM from the contest holder, and from the comments seen above, the requirements for this contest are a completely functioning website, which means design and marked up (x)html website. It is not database driven, so no programming required.

It appears that 7-8 pages are needed - which include content pages, a photo gallery of sorts and a functioning contact form.

You will need to decide whether the prize on offer is covering the work required - particularly for quality coding (and that means not html exported from a graphics program please :-). Minimum design & markup of one template page usually begins at $250.

    The options are:

    1. Continue with the contest where a designer is willing to design and then code the entire site for the contest holder for the prize on offer.

    2. The contest holder changes the spec to a design only for one entry page and a content page and then looks for a coder at the Looking for Hire Forum at SitePoint.

    3. The contest holder cancels the contest until they know exactly how the want to proceed from this point.

PS: It must be remembered that the Category of 'Coded Website' was removed with the introduction of 99designs for various reasons. It is supposed to make a comeback at some point, but right now, there is no such category, but admin staff is being lenient as long as the contest holder/designer can work out the final outcome between them.

Please read the 99designs blog posts for more information about this and other changes/upcoming features etc., http://99designs.wordpress.com/

i am looking for a fully functional website. basically a home page, about us, door styles, showroom with pictures, kitchen, ent ctrs, baths, offices, etc. contact us page, and a service and pledge page. this will not be a database website. i have lots of pictures and a newly designed logo available. i will do the link to a zip file but it will take me at least 24 hrs to complete. let me know what else you will need to help out.

@jsburrows - Why not post the logo here for all designers to work with?
