I think that cards are the only object that are really easily identifiable as used by magicians. Feel free to also use photos of my, stars, lights, callouts etc too.
Andi -- can you tell us what other objects you might work with besides cards and a Rubic's Cube?

I think that the only colour that is similar to your colour scheme is the one I used in the navigation bar (entry #17 and 18). As for the background you have been inspired by the site http://envato.com/ and so have I. If you are still not satisfied please private message me and we'll solve this.
