I also liked the old commenting and rateing system better. The new system makes it very hard on both the designer and contest holder in my opinion.
Hi folks. First, let me apologize for not giving feedback sooner, or with more details as I have in the past. The new layout and functionality of 99designs makes it REALLY hard for me to work thru the creative process of looking, evaluating, ranking and providing feedback. In my opinion, they did not help themselves with this new system. Some elements are an improvement, but others are not.
Thanks for all your entries, and patience as I work thru using my MAC to navigate the contest.
In addition to my above comments, I's suggest it's unethical to use someones logo without their permission... I've only ever done this a couple of times, but *always* PM'd the owner of the logo to ask their permission.
Just wondering aloud here - is the logo being used in some of the submissions being used 'legally'. Have you read the comments over at the logo contest - as far as I can tell, there is a dispute about that logo and it could cause an issue with it's use in entries here unless the contest holder (and the designer of that logo) gives written permission to use it.

NOTICE TO CONTEST ENTRANTS:
KEY Addition: Company is eliminating focus on unskilled, industrial oriented staffing / outsourcing.
Company WILL BE providing direct to hire solutions for skilled positions, and include recruiting / placement as a key service offering.
As a result, overall theme for visuals and content should now be focused on professional positions.

Don't wait for a logo winner to go with a site entry - as you will have 1 hour from the time the logo is over to get it done.
Also, please take the time to review the project details as posted. I am surprised to see entries that have major navigation elements that were not specified. Don't waste your time recycling an old template. READ the brief, and make sure that you make it for MAX STAFF and not MAX MY STAFF. The web url IS NOT the name of the company.
Clean, professional, easy to slice and maintain is key. Strong images of workers from a variety of backgrounds. Factory, Warehouse, Clerical, Medical. We have a diversity of talent we deploy, and that needs to be communicated.
