We just wanted to thanks you all for the nice desigs you guys have come up with. We have finally agreed on a winner. Congratulation to psiddarta.
Thanks again all for the work you put in to this.
Also, as written in the brief, we want room for ads. This doesn't have to be images - any kind of google ad-style ad is okay (feel free to adjust colors).
I should perhaps point out that while the alpha-version (http://beatpoints.digitaldivide.dk) now features a "design", this is only because we are working on some styling code - NOT because it indicates the kind of design we want.
Hi Zippy,
do you mean with regard to the tracking page? Or in general?
Hi Kristian,
Could you give us an idea of what you would like to see in terms of content on this homepage?
Cheers
Note that the alpha version of the site has been updated to better illustrate our idea with the tracking page. The calendar emphasizes (with a bold font as of now) which days contain tracking information.
Entering info for a given day will probably take place in a pop-up when clicking on a day in the calendar.
Yes, the contest is still alive. I should note that we are on Danish time (GMT+1) so if we seem unresponsive at some point, that may be the explanation :)
Kristian is this contest still alive?
Sure :)
Can you pay by Paypal ???
thanks
We like colors like the ones in the Neutrals category on this page: http://www.modernlifeisrubbish.co.u…ur-palette
Okay guys, we are going to try to be a little more specific.
First of all, we understand that the combined web site/logo contest may not be the best idea but we are going to stay with it for now.
We would like to see the following:
- a front page that has only a sign-in form, a sign-up button/link and a short introductionary text. Like on this site: http://www.iterasi.net
- a template for general pages that has a top bar with tabs. We would like to see examples of the dashboard with a chart and the tracking page with a calendar. We would also like to see some text with headings etc.
- a template for buttons
We prefer subtle colors of any hue except for blue.
i completely understand what Colin and Nadia are saying, but there is no need to report me, i only used the images to show Kristain what the page would look like with content as he said he liked these from his research etc.
the web page layout and colour will change along the way, so the web designers creativity will not be robed as colin stated above.
hope you guys understand i am a new designer and still understanding the way things work and i agree with the copy right law its the only way as designers can keep our work save etc.
Kristian,
you may be limiting the number of entries you receive. Many web page designers are not logo designers and vice versa... It would have been a better idea to run a logo competition first and once you'd decided on a winner, then held the web page contest, that way designers could get a feel for a concept taking inspiration from the chosen logo.
@Colin,
Have you reported the designer to 99designs staff via the 'Report" button. All such violations should be reported immediately you see it. I'm with you 100%, copying of any sort is just not done.

rokgdesign you have violated copyright infringements. http://kidmondo.com/overview/. This is a design the contest holder said he liked and was inspired by. But you have blatently copied images and the overall design of an already accomplished site. This is a act that i hate to see. The designer of that site has been robed of his creativity if you insist on mimicing and stealing copyright images from that site. Hope this will be sorted out soon. Oh btw i have nothing against you. Its just i hate to see designers or so called designers mimicing designs and using copyright images. Please ask the owner of the site for permission to use those images . This goes for any other designer who steals from a site. Permission has to be asked first. This can be taken to Court, So just warning everyone before hand.
