Brief Overview

We will provide almost instant feedback on the process and will quickly decide what we like and don't like. We won't drag this process out - either you got it or you don't. We've seen a lot of good work and we're willing to pay for the best job.

Target Audience

We offer receipts online to consumers. Most of our users will not know anything about the product when they first visit the site. We have to quickly engage them and educate them on our product. Still images can be powerful if placed properly.

We have a product that has 2 clear customer bases – retailers and consumers. Retailers will visit the site to understand how the process works and what's in it for them. Consumers will visit the site to learn how it works and what's in it for them. They both need to be able to log in quickly (so returning members don't have to click through 3 screens to login).

Thus we need to educate 2 customer bases using the same website. We're hesitant to have a common (dull) landing page and have them self-select (it's hard to give enough information on a landing page to keep them interested). However, it's also difficult to have a single page engage both bases long enough to click on through.

Requirements

We don’t have a logo, so feel free to play around with one as a bonus. Don’t incorporate our name – just a logo or mark. We want simple but sexy and identifiable. Attached are some examples of stuff we like.

Here's the concept: Remember we have a few different types of users: non-member retailers, member retailers, non-member consumers, and member consumers. When someone hits our site, they will need to quickly learn about the product, then click through for more details, or they will need to quickly log in.

Other Requirements:
1. Subtly targeted towards women, but not flowery
2. Subtly targeted towards 'green' users, but not too extreme
3. Must look better than all the competition's websites (listed below – we need to spank alletronics.com).
4. Please design something a software developer can actually build! Non-exotic fonts, text box designs, etc.

Last: The reason we like allEtronic's site is because it feels safe and calm. There's a nice woman looking at you. It feels like a relaxing walk in the park. Yes, there is technology, but it's not techy and nerdy and cold. It's there to serve me. And everyone is smiling.
