After a few back-and-forth exchanges with the client, we've chosen Thomas's (Visual Depth) design, for his efforts here: http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplac…/473/86828
A couple minor alteration at the client's request, and I'll be awarding him first prize.

Thanks for all the great entries, and my apologies for the intermittent posting over the last week or two. Christmas break, I hope you understand how it is.
I'll be reviewing the entries with our client today, and hope to post up a winner later today. Alternatively, I may re-open the contest if it seems appropriate to give people a chance to revise their entries.
