Hey guys,

When I say promo pane, I mean something like the container that contains the Random Selections. This pane has a green background header. I would like extra variation of this 'container' with a different colour background, make the title Test Title, and content Lorem ipsum dolor... The re should be two extra colour variants in addition to the green, and match the rest of the template.

Lets get these in your designs :)

Thanks for your the latest influx of entries in the last 24-48 hours, it has certainly made our decision harder. There may be slight confusion in the requirements as I have changed it in the public comments but hasnt been reflected in the original brief. As a summary this is what I am looking for.

In your entry - and to help us judge, include 3 layouts

1. Home page - Three column, include banner and blurb at the top.
2. Content page - Three column, without the banner and blurb at the top. Contains 3 variations of RHS promo pane. variant is colour based on the header
4. Details page - Two column, without banner and blurb. Include mini version of Google Map.

Deliverables
3 PSD templates, and 1 AI/EPS file for the logo.

Please ensure the 9 points in the new specs are all met.

In order to meet this I will extend the contest and GUARANTEE the prize to ensure your time is not wasted. However, going forward only entries rated three stars and above will be allowed to continue, as there is already potential for a winner, and new entries will only complicate things :)

Please remember that this is a *Web Design* competition not a logo design - the logo has already been created and you only need to add text treatment to it. *Logo design* entries will not be considered.

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for your entries to this competition. We have been overwhelmed by the number of possible directions and feel that we cannot make a decision in time so we have extended the contest by 5 days so we can have a chance to tighten up the designs. At the end of 9 days and there are 3 days left period, this 3 day period will be considered the second round, in which all entries that we have rated 3 and above may continue, and all others will no longer be considered.

We have already marked the entries we like so far, so if you are yet to enter the competition please only do so if you are confident you can beat the existing designs.

This competition has also helped us tighten up our requirements, and instead of informing each designer individually, it would be better to show them here for all to see. So in addition to the original brief:

1. Like the idea of having a banner/hero image underneath the header, with the About HalalSquare text blurb this will serve well as the homepage. Hero image can include dishes of food from around the world, give it that *global* feeling.
2. Details page - please include a mini version of the Google Map, which will link to the actual Map page. No need to design Map page.
3. Menu - needs to be flexible enough to add/remove items, as members/advertisers will have different menu options. So menu should be placed in a bar.
4. Menu - Level 1 items, Needs to have hover/active status designed
5. Menu - Level 2 items. needs to be designed and have hover/active status designed
6. Quick search, no need for this to appear in homepage, but needs to appear on all other pages
7. About Halal Square no longer needs to appear in footer, it should appear on the homepage on top of the hero/background image. The footer as per brief needs keyword anchors, a good example is http://www.exa.com.au/ - You can add dummy text for the keywords
8. Please use the gradient used as the table gradient on original design - because this is derived from a third party control and is too much work to change. This gradient can be used as background of promo pane titles
9. Design 2 variants of the promo panes, the only difference should be different gradient colour, will be used as for extra special promos etc

As there has been a change in requirements, we will increase the price accordingly.

@artofid - you are free to use any colours, but green needs to feature predominantly
