    UPDATE: We've selected a winning concept and a runner-up for this contest. As such we have eliminated all but two designers.

    There are a couple issues that we'd like to be addressed in the winning concept; therefore we're likely going to extend the contest solely to get those issues addressed before formally declaring a winner.

    GIGANTIC THANKS YOUS to all who entered, we saw some great designs and were quite torn when it came to making a decision - it was a restless night of sleep for all of us. We hope you feel that we held up our end of the bargain with frequent and useful feedback, and transparency to our contest approach and timeline.

    A note for all designers currently participating in our contest - thanks for your continued work and ideas, its been very interesting to see the various approaches and creativity coming forth.

    Out of respect for your time, we're soon going to try and make some 'pre-selections' of our favorite design concepts thus far, in an effort to reduce the pool of design concepts to a maximum of 5 and allow us (and you) to focus on those designs which have the best chance of winning this contest.

    We will of course evaluate any new concepts submitted after this 'pre-selection,' but they will have to meet a much higher standard to be considered as a potential finalist for this contest - we respect those designers who have been invested in this contest more deeply and have gone through some feedback loops with us our needs.

    We do have accounts at most of the social media sites, we most regularly use twitter, facebook, and stumbleupon...still devising an approach for how we'll use social media though.

    All - we've decided to extend the contest by 2 days to be sure designers have enough time to put their entries together, and to mitigate for the fact that a couple days will be taken up by the weekend...we figured it would be better to extend earlier in our timeline rather than late. We don't intend to extend any further except to select a winner from the finalists.
