I've shortlisted some of the entries and hope to make a final decision tomorrow (Wednesday) and award the contest & send money to the top 3 finalists.

Thanks again for the work that all designers have put in.

The contest is just about over and I didn't expect this large a response. I'm pleasantly surprised.

I will review all the top entries tomorrow and provide final feedback. Additionally, I will contact a shortlist for contact & payment information.

    Thanks again for all entries.

I am very impressed by the overall quality of all designs. Keep up the good work.

I think there are several good options here for us - it's definitely going to be a hard choice to nail it down to a final - and we're only half done! Who knows what other great designers are yet to submit their work?

    Good job all.

First off: I'm impressed by the work so far. Keep it coming. Thanks for your interest in our project. I look forward to the revisions & new ideas.

    A few updates...

    Logos & Tagline:
In the design brief, I mentioned that the logo & tagline I would get better versions of. I have done so, here are the EPS for our 3 logo variations & the tagline (on black):
    http://www.envisica.com/download_fi…agline.zip

For those that have submitted design without these logos & taglines, that's not a problem, I'll just assume that we'll substitute in one of our logos upon completion.

    Fonts:
Several people have mentioned not having the fonts. I mentioned them in the design brief (Today & Berkeley), but I didn't think about the fact that this is web design.

For the most part, we won't be using our fonts on the web. For the obvious reason that people won't have them.

We will use them in a limited fashion (e.g. the navigation and/or the page title) with some method. Otherwise, we'll likely resort to a look-alike font.

    Feedback Speed:
I've been trying to keep things moving. I really wanted to show the designs around the office for the first go round (so I could get a sense of what other people thought of different elements). From now on, I'll be faster with feedback as I will do less of that (having gotten initial senses from people). I am the final decision-maker for this work and also will be the person dealing with all future website templates.

    Just a quick post:
I will have feedback to all entries & ratings - yesterday was a holiday here so I didn't spend much time in here. If you are thinking about submitting a design, I'll be spending some time reviewing & discussing with colleagues this morning.

Generally: I'm impressed so far - thanks to everyone for getting on this. I am beginning to think that we're going to have the tough choice of choosing between a few designs that we really like - this is a good problem to have!

    Keep up the good work.

@coloursofinternet: that's interesting - it is a similar logo. This logo predates me by several years (and I've been here 2 years now)

    You've got me interested.

If you are as detailed with your feedback as you have been with your brief, then I can see this contest being a very popular one.

I'll have a design to you in the next day or two.

I got a private question that I'll answer here:
    "Do you want any flash?"

Not at this point. We're just looking for the static design. We will later add any flash. The upper header might be in flash, but otherwise I don't anticipate it being used.

For the homepage (not being designed here) we will have a flash piece that we're already working on.
