Will do desert. I'm a contract programmer so I know what it takes for you to create the designs, I've dealt with you guys a lot. I've held a few other contests in the past and all went well. This was the first one that went sideways. Thanks again to everyone that submitted a design!
And after all that comment above we pick the winner: an entry with NO logo at all... Please CH, in the future treat designers a little kinder, we do spend hours working on these and, yes, I read the brief closely too, but didn't want to copy somebody else's design or even the concept.

Hmm, was this contest hidden? Not many entries, I wish I knew about it lol.
And 99Designs really needs to fix up their thumbnail previewing. The Autofill background technique can look nice with the right color, but it usually mucks up the actual look.
I've read the brief carefully, and if logo was the factor that made decision NOT to pick a winner AFTER 3 days of NOT giving feedback or any kind of comment on any entrants , that's just rude in my books.And all of the designs submitted look much better than any of sites you gave link to.
So please don't try to blame on hardworking designers here,next time you read guidelines on how to conduct a contest,or otherwise you might just find that you'll lose good part of 99designers ignoring your next contests.

Dawson/desert, we gave 6 sample sites and specifically explained what we liked about each. We asked that all designers look at the logo on www.theabsorber.com and ONLY NunoLac provided a logo close to what we were looking for. Next time READ the brief carefully, then you won't have to be physic!
Ditto! How can a CH get a design to work for them, when only 1 entry got feedback? We are designers, not psychics.

I just reread the brief and see that I accidentally put a PDF as the deliverable. I meant to type PSD editable in Photoshop 7.
