I am an open source (PHP & JavaScript) toolmaker, consultant and developer looking for a new site design. I am a professional with a plan and need to look like one.
I need a site that is:
- Simple yet sophisticated
- Colourful but not distracting
- Fluid design with precise information presentation
In summary I am looking for a design with an overall philosophy and sophistication; not just a web 2.0 look alike.
I am inspired by nature's structures and see the underlying structure of the systems I work on. See comments for more info.
Deliverables:
- One clean, organized, layered PSD file
- Vector graphics where possible/appropriate
- Macros for processing images if applicable
I will mention the designer in the footer. Great exposure.

Need a universal design that appeals to techies and business people.
I am looking for a LANDING PAGE DESIGN ONLY, BUT I need to be able to take the design and make it into a content page template by taking out sections and making minor adjustments (you need to take this into consideration or design a content page example if more extensive modification is required).
I am looking for something different, slightly out of the box and am not restricting possibilities by providing sites I like.
The design can rely on CSS/JavaScript features if need be for positioning etc...
I don't have a colour palette or specific expectations about colour but no black or dark theme.
The design must support a dynamic width with min and max values but will consider fixed width for landing page only.
I have posted:
- A mockup for the overall layout and content of the landing page. Use positioning, sizing and proportions as guideline but don't be restricted by it. I expect adjustments but they need to be reasoned or needed to fit the design.
- A text file containing the text blocks in the mockup so you don't have to retype.
- Relevant logos
