Okay, arg. The client's flight was delayed and he only just returned. He has promised to have a look this weekend, so I should know something first thing Monday morning, if not sooner. I'll continue to post any news here as I get it -- I'm as anxious to get this moving as you are!

Thanks very much to everyone who has submitted a design. I am once again blown away by the designs and I'm glad I'm not the one making the final decision! Just so everyone knows what's going on, I'll be showing these designs to the client tomorrow when he returns to town, and I'll immediately get back to each of you when he responds. @hitmanuk2k, I'm not sure as to the dimensions of the Flash file, to honest, but I would anticipate the actual video used in the animation will be 320 x 240 -- but we can fill in the background of the animation as needed to accommodate a larger area, if the design requires it. In my mind, I anticipate the Flash file will be the center of attention on the home page, but the client doesn't really have a requirement that it would appear in the center of the page, or top of of the page, or any place that specific.

My original plan was to let the design drive the placement of the Flash animation.

@ angrypuppy, you *are* angry, aren't you? :) No, seriously, I'm not sure what you mean, but I am extremely appreciative of all the effort that goes into these designs and try to give feedback to everyone who submits. In some cases, my initial feedback might only be, "I like it," because, well, I like it. As I said, I am extremely appreciative of the effort the designers put into these contests, so if you have feedback as to what I can do to improve my contests, feel free to pm me. I appreciate constructive advice!
