We have now selected winner. The final N4G might look quite different from the winning design but we chose the design we thought would be the best starting point for getting the design we are looking for. I want once again to thank all who submitted a design to this contest, we had many great designs to choose from and some of you might also hear back from us in the near future.

Just want to thank everybody who submitted their design to this contest. We will spend this week going over all the different designs and hopefully we will have picked a winner by next Monday. It won't be easy though with so many great designs to choose from. So thanks again and you will hear back from me when we have made our decision.

Right, I've cast my vote! (if this were actually a vote! and presuming I couldn't vote for myself! because obviously I'd want my design to win!!!)
My vote would go to Will Sanderson #157 very clean & sexy and I love the use of icon in the top right hand corner!

Lots of great design, but i've got to disagree with iExile, I much prefer Hyoungwoo's #143 over it! It's much less busy and my eyes feel less conflicted about where to look first :P
I haven't looked at all the designs enough to make my mind up on an overall favourite. It'll be interesting to see what they go for, and I look forward to seeing the new N4G site launched! I've been a user of the site for a while, and i've always thought it could do with some styling!
Wow, so many great designs. This was really hard for me but I've gotta go with Hyoungwoo's #145.

My thoughts(as a N4G contributor and regular)on some of the designs;I think Hyungwos design should pretty much be how N4G looks after the Fall update.Maybe the main Color should be White instead(because everything from Giantbomb to Destructoid is black)but that's the only thing that I believe should change,everything else is near perfect for both Contributors and readers of the site.5 Stars no doubt about it.
Norgen 77 as well as Sheeze also have designs that will feel 'natural' on N4G,if that makes any sense.Also,since Bloodmask spends the most time on N4G,he should be consulted in regards to which colors should be used in the Pending section of News.
