just a note to all artists:
THE BRAND is "Planet M.U.L.E.", its not the characters!!!
So in >90% of all entries, it looks like this is totally neglected!
We need no distorted or hard to read or dull brand,
we need some striking, clean, yet creative brand for the header!!!

Note that the colors were animated, so its not about how this is done, but the emphasize on the BRAND relative to the rest...
Just placing the aliens somewhere in the header and a quick Planet Mule (with a more or less realistic planet) is not cutting it in most cases!
So best is to concentrate on a good header, get that right and then think about a good design that accompanies the header.
We know its tough to come up with something satisfying from all angles, but thats why we are looking for your help here, and we are confident, that it is doable by any of you, so we raise this another $250 to show our confidence to find a winner, thanks.

Begin awarding the 4 stars:
all 4stars have an edge over the 3 stars,
meaning they did more than half things right.
3stars are about even or "half right", and would need several improvements (instead of 1 or 2 things as for the 4 stars) to bring them up to 4.
1 and 2 stars shouldn't be bothered to be improved.
General comment:
There is yet no entry that satisfies all aspects of our winning design, so please look into the comments, what we like about any particular 3 or 4 star and what is still not satisfying, and think if its possible to transfer good things we already like to make it work for your entry.

We decided to extend the contest 4 more days, to give some extra time to those who want to improve their designs. Shortly, we will also begin to award the 4 stars. After the (extended) contest time is up, a sure winner will be picked!
