I love the little awareness ribbons and footprints at the top of the sections on submission #10. Excellent touch!

Great call out for an e-newsletter and using the large ribbons in the charity section on #9.

The offers will be a selection of different things, ranging from signing up for free newsletters in the users area of interest, to getting a seat at the world series of poker, to getting a new car quote, to signing up for free trials of software, or to free e-books on how to make money online.

Mostly these will be affiliate-type offers that advertisers are willing to pay to gain readers and members for, and none of the offers will require the user to purchase anything or enter credit card information. Hopefully all of these offers will in some way be useful to the website visitor.

Also, I will probably be updating these offers on a pretty regular (weekly) basis, depending on the changing needs of advertising companies, so any header images should stay as generic as possible.

For the image header, I would like to keep it gentle and sweet, an image that tugs at the heart strings, and would make the end user want to donate (through their clicks) to a good cause.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Kimmski, Well for starters, thanks for the brief on this project, your enthusiasm shines through.

May I ask you one question? What offers will you be offering, as I have no idea of what you mean by "offers"

    kind regards

    Kimberly,
I may have some time over the next of days to get you an entry - but quick question to get a feel for the site, may I ask what type of offers will be the mainstay of the site? if you'd rather not say, you can PM if you like. Just think that knowing this may help with the direction of a design..... particularly with regards to picking an appropriate image for the header for example...

I came across a fun clip-art type image that I think I will try to incorporate into my logo (but a set, and slightly redesigned). Just want to show everyone what I am thinking about...

I will also probably include the name "Helpful Steps" in a childlike handwriting to the right of logo.

Can't wait to see some entries!
