Mal, glad you resubmitted. I think most people in the creative fields (art, design, writing, theatre, broadcast) have all thought, at one time or another, that maybe their stuff didn't measure up. A few years back I attended a portfolio showing at a local media club and saw that everyone was doing similar work. You could almost interchange designs. I commented that my stuff looked really off the wall compared to everyone else's. I'll always love my partner for stating how disappointed they would be if I reined in my own style and creativity in favour of some edict of how things are 'supposed' to be done. Wouldn't you rather be a trendsetter, following your own creativity? You will find that others are then 'borrowing' from YOUR designs! Enough philosophizing, this is a design contest after all. :) Thanks to the CH for their indulgence.
