Thanks to everyone who submitted a design into the contest. I was really impressed with the quality and creativity. The winner is LukeBurns and I very much look forward to working with him to polish the last few corners. I will definitely be recommending 99designs to my friends and colleagues.

Well after some thought, it saddens me that other designers cannot submit original desgins. I for one am withdrawing from this contest. Good luck to all, especially you LukeBurns; very original deisgn you have there!

I'm really impressed with the quality of the entries so far! I really like the simplicity and the more neutral colours of #7. I'd have to say my favourite it numbers #9, #10, #11 so far. My only comment would be that I'd prefer it if the logo stayed intact, distinct and didn't blend into the page as the blue left hand side part does.

Nadia P, the prize on offer covers all 3 pages. I'm sorry that you feel that the prize offered isn't enough but unfortunately this is the maximum I'm able to offer.

correction: the prize on offer *only covers 2 pages* (not 3).

Have to agree with webknix - the minimum required for one page is $250. Not sure how you can say that the same amount of work goes into one page as in creating three pages. It's a matter of time.. certainly takes much longer to create 3 pages than it does one.

The prize on offer covers 3 pages, at least a bit of an increase to cover the 3rd would be ideal and would be appreciated by the designers. It would also ensure that you get more designers involved in your contest.

Great work huiragubi! #3 is my favourite so far. I like the simpler colour scheme and separation of the search area from the header, it give it more prominence.

Webknix, thanks also for your interest. I appreciate there's always going to be debate surrounding what is a reasonable charge for work and I certainly don't intend to exploit anyone. I did have a look at other projects and the prizes page you mentioned before setting the prize for this contest. Personally I think it's very fair. I'm not expecting or indeed wanting anything complicated and believe that the same amount of work that might typically go into creating only one page, could go into the 3 I'm looking for.

Avinash, thanks for your interest. I'd like the image as a layered psd, does 1024x768 sound like a reasonable resolution? Like I say I'm kinda new to all this!

It would be great if the search bar had prominance but the homepage should also have space for some intro text.
