Serious consideration will be given to the website designs that use players to engage and retain website traffic and promote interactive navigation resulting from clip content to a relevant web page for the user to "take action" such as a purchase of an item or subscribe to a service etc. Players are introduced with a URL so it's conceivable that you would call/pop up another player from a link in the link box.
Virtual Onramp populated players are deployed via a URL. In that context the player itself is Flash. Any player configured in Virtual Onramp can be deployed with these methods:
HTML Embedded: using the provided IFRAME code snippet
HTML hypelink: using the provided HREF code snippet
emailed link: using the provide URL
