very nice clear brief. i'm definitely in.
From my comments on #3, but I don't want anyone to miss them:
"I also feel that everything between the two 468x60 advertisements kind of goes unnoticed by the viewer. I was hoping that there would be a little bit more "pop" in the way that the icon legend, category/early-bird filters and time notifications were displayed. Because right now, it feels that people automatically just skip down to the item lists and completely bypass the entire "header" part of the section."

De-cluttering and making everything just easier to read/process is definitely the prime objective. I'm not looking for some flashy new redesign, it just seems everything could be laid out better.
