@ Nadia, I'd like either a fluid width or fixed at 770 pixels. Either way, it should look good EITHER at 770 or wider. If the content can be fluid, that's great - we'll figure out the code if the design is fluid friendly.

Some overall comments - First I'm impressed by what has been submitted in such a short time frame. Thank you for your hard work!

I think the single large images are working better than the scrolling slideshow ideas. The Flash will probably do a simple fade in/out to change the images. I do like the user having buttons for the Flash as in #5, #15 and #8 - even if those controls are simple previous/next arrows. The captions are also a good idea.

The site will NOT have an image gallery per se. Recent Projects would be more in line with the client's needs. 'Gallery' areas should also have room for the project category (ie Government, Fire Station etc.) or building name as in #15.
