I was asked by the contest holder to post this message to all entrants.

"Thank you for all your hard work. We will have to postpone announcing a winner since we cannot login properly.
We, the contest holder, extends our deepest apologies.

As outlined in the "guideline for contest holders" we, the contest holder, do not want to leave any designer in the lurch and we want to leave comments/feedback for each talented designer. Without the ability to login and we have requested assistance from sitepoint's staff for the past THREE DAYS to no avail.

At this time, for the "good reason" stated above, we are forced to cancel this contest properly as this is an extreme circumstance as outlined in the "guideline for contest holders" We know this will be recorded against our profile that we cancelled a contest, so again, this is an extreme circumstance and with good reason (all stated in the guideline for contest holders)

narra: excellent work in the title area and faded images in the main area. The color scheme needs work. Perhaps of the blue were a more muted tone, closer to this blue (steel blue): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steel_blue

mafia: your fantastic work is very polished - only thing we would want is the bring the white area (glory road and sports illustrated) to the bottom, below the text "welcome to..." and "harry's goals" in the main area

Again, we extend our most sincerest apologies. Hopefully sitepoint will fix this problem very soon and I can continue the contest as I've paid $50.00 US Dollars to post this contest. The rules state: "After a contest expires, it remains on the site for a further 30 days, but will no longer be listing on the front page or category listing pages. If the contest holder chooses to end the contest earlier than 10 days from when it was created, they can still change their mind and extend it for longer."
