Dear contestants
We were particularly torn between the designs from Jun, impz, and lizard eye. All were really close. In the end we decided in favor of lizard eye, also because he seems to have put some really thorough thought into how to implement his design.

Hi everybody
Again, sorry for the delay. Now everybody is back from vacation and we are very close to the decision on who the winner is. We are very pleased with the results and think there are several really good ones. As a matter of fact we might contact some of the runner-ups later if our site turns out to be a success because we want to allow the users to select their layout from a selection of different ones. So even if you don't turn out to win the contest, there is another chance.
Again, thanks a lot for all the good work. Expect the decision by Sunday evening (CET).

I'm really sorry that you think this is a dead contest. We are three people who are going to decide who the winner should be, but we have not managed to get in contact in the last person because of vacation :(

Well it's nearly been a week now and nothings happened so I think I can say this is dead...I really wanted to see who they chose as a winner, some really good designs out there.
Who recieved a private message asking them to visit a url, to get some ideas on how the page data would look (requesting 2 to 3 designs), oh and also enquired about their freelance rates?..I know
I did.
I had a feeling something was strange when they had asked me to design a few more pages (and im positive they asked you guys aswell) When I first got the message I was like, " I could win this!" but knew this was fruitless effort.
I really hope the CH proves me wrong on this and finally selects a winner or even gives feedback.
Dazzclub says well done to all the designers who still, regardless of CH's bad ethics, continue to make 99designs a place for excellent designs and even better manners (manners because right know i would like to be posting rude words that express my frustration when things like this happen)
