1. Make things simple & intuitive. Some come in 2 times a day (dont bore them). Some not to buy, but looking for news, support, or just to check delivery status on an order. Make it white, clean, appealing (if color use blue or charcoal). Header: logo, phone number, small icons or small text URL for login - contact us - references (place this at the very top right side). Horizontal navigation menu - a sleek similar to www.gettyimages.com. Leftside top: Searchfield: Make design so that the searchfield is discrete yet enhanced (maybe font 12) - inviting to be used! Left side bottom: 1-2 or 3 animated gifs or small flash ads marketing stuff inside the store (ex Iphone - click here..).
