Nadia,
I'm very dissapointed of you. As a community mentor for the sitepoint site, I would have expected a lot more respect comming from you. "The bit of a mess" is just becuase of the inexperience with the site and the process. I'm sure if I run a contest again things would look much different. To say something that negative about the director's taste, has a lot to say about you. I would have expected a negative and resentful message from anyone, but not from you.

I'm still looking forward to work with any of the three designers, that are clearly marked with the highest rating, to bring up a new site using his template, if the designer is willing to continue working with me. I think is obvious who the three are. So, I should declare the winner shortly.

Thanks everyone for your participation.

Who are the final 3 supposed to be? Wouldn't it have been better to say up front which of the designers make up the final 3? this has ended up a bit of a mess at the end of the contest. Entries being accepted after the fact for example. Doesn't appear that the director knows what they want in all honesty. Glad to see you are running with my idea of a smaller header for the internal pages....

Any chance of making them four? I've just submitted a new (irresistable?)entry :)
Let me know as soon as possible and I'll make a subpage design. Thanks.

Director has selected three designs and we are waiting to see your submissions for sub-pages.
I'm not going to accept entries for main pages (unless is a striking and perfect design that I can not resist - but it has to be irresistable). So, I would like to work with the tree designer to finish this project. Thanks

Hi everyone,
thanks again for your submissions. I'm running out of time here. I'm in the process of getting at least two of your submissions approved, so we can continue with the design of the sub-page. As in any government institution things make take longer. So, in the next few hours I will announce our main candidates as I get the feedback.

I just wanted to clarify what I expect from the sub-page. I want to see a banner at the top that is not so wide, I expect to see format for diffent page elements, like forms, lists, etc. I thought that was obvious, but the entries I've seen they are just a replica of the home page. I dont think that is going to work in this case.

I finally got some feedback from the director last night. So I will be submitting feedback today to each entry.

xituuu - please remove all your entries immediately = copyright infringements at it's best.
No templates allowed in contests, it has to be all your own work !!

^^ I've already reported this member before seeing the layouts were from TM. He/she has submitted too many entries that look pre-made and generic to be unique. Now he/she should be banned for copyright infringement.

PDSWeb, I suggest you look at contests held by jc27 to know what are the client's duties in the design process. That, my friend, is Feedback.

I have asked 3 simple questions because I want to provide you with best quality and yet you remove my comments? I don't need to start on a design and waste time because there are things I'm unsure of.

Why are you are waiting for others to answer my questions? Does it hurt to explain what a dynamic menu is? Does it hurt to say a "Yes" or "No" to my question regarding replacing the colours and use of a sidebar on the homepage?

FYI: I'm going to be showing all entries to the director tomorrow. I let you know any feedback I get. So, if you have any other ideas, please submit then before 3 pm tomorrow. I appreciate your efforts.

@sirali, just read the brief, read the feedback on other entries and then submit a design. You won't know if you are on the right track unless you submit an entry and you get feedback from the contest holder ;-)

"Can I not use a two coloumn layout on the home page? You don't need to display much information on the home page so I figured it wouldn't be necessary. Also, is it a must to use the two colours you mentioned?"
