Hi Everyone. Wow such a high standard. I am hard pressed to make a final decision.

I would love to choose all 3 of my favourites, but that is far out of my budget.

I have proposed a way to make all 3 winners. Each candidate has been notified by PM. To the rest of you, you have my humble thanks. Maybe next time.

If that is not acceptable to 2 out of 3, then I shall pick one winner as planned.

Irregular, but I'm sure everyone can understand my dilemma.

    Fantastic job everyone!!

    Hi All,

I'm keen to help any of you develop your portfolio and your income. If you've got one or two online sites that you really think show cases your skills, please let me know.

I'll do my best to market your work - and perhaps bring in some regular business for you. No promises, just an offer to help talented people take their career to the next level.

lee.curtis.dox at gmail dot com for those interested.

    cheers,

    Hi Everyone.

Wow! I've got some really great designs to choose from.

Spudz & Twiggy have captured what I saw in my mind's eye. lasenorita came in with a late entry that really delivers on my goals too.

All of them have great vibrant colours. The layouts are fresh, bold and elegant.

I am finding it very hard to choose a winner, but it will between these spudz & twiggy.

I really wish I could take all 3 and turn them into businesses, but I just don't have the budget right now.

Fantastic job to everyone, even those I didn't mention by name did a nice job.

Good luck, stay in touch - I'm sure I can work with many of you in future - and as my newly formed online empire grows - so I will need to call upon your services.

So far, I've been running two competitions a month for a few months - I can't see this stopping for the next 12 months. It's just a matter of cash flow & time.

    Hi Everyone,

Just want to stress how important it is that we use semantic markup for the coding.

please keep to h1-h4,b,i,p,li,ol,ul,a,img,br tags. use DIV/SPAN where possible to hold layout. All images/styling will be contained in the CSS. The XHTML itself will be very plain and "old school", nothing fancy at all. We should be able to reskin the site with ease.

If you have any questions on what this all means, I'd be happy to help you out.

I'm really liking spudz work. Dazedmedia is on the right lines too. Spudz has got the layout/design spot on, and the colours are strong and striking. Both designs are simple, but powerful with a modern elegant look.

Keep up the great work. I'll be offline for 48 hours whilst I swap hemispheres - so please be patient with me.

Here all ... quite a few requests for "wireframes" or examples. I appreciate that I've not been very good at this. I hope you can all bear with me a little while ...

I've picked 3 sites - all quite different. They each have a nice colours, clean lines, are elegant (not too busy) in appearance - and with a few graphic touches that make them stand out.

    http://tonyyoo.com/v2/
    http://joyent.com/
    http://www.dinis91.com/

I hope that helps you all ...

d0nk3y is on the right lines. A simple framed page.

Spudz, the main site navigation will be tabbed above. Left & Right columns should be allowed in the design. The central area will change according to the page.
