Since the actual feeds (RSS or Ajax) videos, photos, new movies, etc., will be 75% of the design as they will show everytime the page is loaded. See the homepage now, to design it without the feeds would be nothing more than puting a table under the logo. But add the feeds and there is a full page of content....does this make sense? Like the summary says, look at yahoo and MSN. The only difference is they have a staff that writes a lot of their stuff and they have static content. I just want self-updating content on my page, much like I have now, but I want a variety. And adspace to sell.

Like I said the prize is just for a simple design, wow me and it will be doubled. If I only get "designs" then there will be a winner and I will have to take the design to someone who can fill in the feeds.

My assumption is that the winner will simply apply their design, codes, feeds etc...to the existing page, or I suppose I could give them cpanel rights so that they could copy the existing code for the search box. That is something that can be worked out later and we can work out additional paid work to get it all perfect.

No, the search box is already set-up to search the database and feeds. Thats all ready to go. I would like the rest of page done, remove the logo so that the search box is more visible...like yahoo.com etc.

"Obviously I would need the search box coded to the rest of the site after the contest is over."

By this do you mean just setting up the form coding for the search box as in you already have the site search coding setup or do you need somebody to actually code the site search function for you?
