Design brief

Brief Overview

We are planning to kick off the brand with a men's online lifestyle magazine. Eventually we would like to venture out into other men's products (cologne, designer clothes, etc.)

We are currently looking for a twitter background, and there's a good chance the winning designer will be given the opportunity to work on related projects (myspace, youtube, desktop wallpapers, etc.)

We plan on having a good amount of followers once we launch xx,xxx - xxx,xxx range. So your work will definitely be seen.

The winning designer will also be featured in a bio article to be published on the site (optional of course).

The website design is still being tweaked (specifically the sidebar) but hopefully the logo and website design will give you a feel for the brand.

Target Audience

Men ages 18-49 with the "core" audience expected to be in the range of 21-35.

Requirements

The logo and tag line must be included. You can however play with the tag line if that's something you're interested in (move it around? design it into the background?)

We do NOT want a tiled (repeating) background.

We would like an area listing the twitter usernames of a few editors as well as the urls to a few other brand profiles (facebook, youtube). This is preferred, but NOT required. The best design will win either way.

Our brand is about men's interests...sex, relationships, sports, style, tech toys, fitness, health, money, etc. We aren't playboy.

Sure we're going to be featuring women on our site, but we don't want a twitter background with nothing except beautiful women plastered everywhere. Looking for more creativity.

Feel free to experiment with colors, as long as the logo fits in.

Other than that, there aren't many requirements. Lets see what you can come up with!
