Yep, this is what i mean, it means not every contestant understand what the guys at WOOTHEMES want...if you read the description, there it says they need this for the FOWD Conference. Dont tell me people joing the "Future Of Web Design" conference wont know the meaning of "tableless" and the rest on the design...Capisci? ;-)

@delight: there is no hate here dude! Don't get me wrong but not everyone know what a slice or what HTML is. So you can write "tableless" even on excel spreadsheets. If people don't know what excel is ... your message is down! Now about my design and the idea behind it : after all everyone knows what makes a man goes WOOO! Even women know that :) and almost everybody using internet knows how the cursor for links look like :P So ... in translation : "Let's click on that ... makes me go WOOOOOOooooo!"
    Capisci?
    Peace out!

First of all, cheers to delight! Congrats on your win! ;)

Second of all, boos to CH who angered his original contestants on Flikr by moving the contest here and then promptly angered his contestants on 99designs.

@delight Your wrong..you did not read there minds. They had your shirt choosen even before this contest started. why do you think that you and a few others were rated? when there was a few ahead of yours. I congratulate you in your win and i go on with my life. The point made by us a 99 is that people make contest that waste our time, when we could have made some cash wasting our own time. well no hard feelings. later

@TetrisLovers, not writing this as defence to what you say, you are right there are some great designs. Let me tell you a short story, recently there was an tee contest handled by Quiksilver at another site with 700+ entries which some of them was really sick kicka$$ designs created by designers that already got their names on the "tee design" map. The company executives choosed designs that was unexpected to be a winner and most designers didnt support their decission (including myself). But when you think what can be the reason...it is simple, You filled the desire of the client and here you are, a winner!! Here it doesnt play a role if i or you or anyother participant supports the customer decission. Let's face it, when i look at the entries i see hell a lot of "prety pictures" without an idea backup of the customer identity or what about their are , most of using public domain art (against the rules). An great example of how should you develop your design for this contest is natovision's entry...this is an idea developed with strong identity of the customer. Look at your entry, you can be a very good logo designer my friend, but not a t-shirt art designer...tee art is something that most of us would not understand what schould we create to take the customer attention and full fill their needs. Me personaly, i am involved with WOOTHEMES almost from the day they first launched, maybe i just better read their minds that most of the guys submited art for the contest. You say a tee art must make you feel WOAA as first impression, looking at the entries i could not see any that makes me feel that way...maybe simply of the reason this site doesnt have artists producing stuff for the tee industry. I know on this site are great logo and interface designers, but this doesnt mean they can do anything posted on this site and comes their way.

I also see you did a small research to find out who the hell i am to write your "smart statement". Just for your information, many great designers and industry trend setters are Turkish :-)...so your words "one of those low price made in turkey like t-shirts" is somehow sounding odd to me...so no need to show such hate dude.

I hope this message have atleast cleared a few things for you...Peace :)

this was just a joke. a bad one. I never expected or wanted to win ... but there were other great designs and that design you guys just chose, is just one of those low price made in turkey like t-shirts. A t-shirt must shout WOO when you see it ... You dont need the code to sew its message onto the fabric. You put this contest up just for a "what the heck ... let's see if anything better comes up ... we know who wins ... but let's see some free hype and maybe we can get more ideas".

Yeah, I read the backstory. Doesn't look like anyone has given you Flikr crossovers a run for your money yet, though. :)

@dormouse, i am here at this site not that that i very much support the business model or the way of how sitepont works. I am here only coz woothemes moved the contest to host it here...thought i am not a big fan of free mockuping trend :), but thanks for the tips, i'll consider it in future.
