Depends how far you plan to deviate. Bare in mind these concepts represent cacti and diamonds. So some green and white are given.

Thanks for all the entries so far! All the different styles are making it difficult to rate.

So I will be revising my methodology on how I give them out:

1 star - I would like to see it further developed.
2 stars - Made use of festival concept but lacking in creativity.
3 stars - Creative use of festival concept but needs some development.
4 stars - Creative use of festival concept.
5 stars - Creative use of festival concept and has perceivable connection with festival metaphor. (Cacti becoming Diamond)

I hope this new rating system will be helpful for everyone.

The main objective is to take our original design elements and add-arrange them how ever you like.

If you think you have a good idea in mind, you are welcome to recreate the design as long as you can retain the similar feel of the concept.

Keep in mind that the green circles and diamond shapes are a recurring visual in our festival's image. Print/web ads, posters will have similar designs. So having a t-shirt that has a connection between them all is ideal.

You raise a good point. Is there a particular entry you are referring to?

I realize our files make use of transparencies but we are prepared to handle that when the design goes to print by flattening all the layers on to a base colour.
