CONGRATS to TINIKI [entry #3] for the winning entry.
Will announce winner later today. THANKS to all the participants...much appreciated.
Since you asked. They all are good...so far TINKI is first ...next would be GRAPHX85
which entries do you like the best so far? Can you pay by checl, money order or western union?
My new entry is in
Designs are coming nicely. However, I need to specify this camp is for KIDS.
tiniki. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I appreciate and like your entry.
i think it is a lot of talking questioning the logo...and it is not a logo's contest...it is a t-shirt...and you didn't say anything about having the logo everywhere in the t-shirt...so....
TINIKI: What's the point in your comment?
ups...i didn't read the comments before posting!!!!....mmmm.....i remember this logo contest ...last year?...i entered it....and i am sure you got a lot of entrances...so i think you chose this logo because you liked....and that's the important thing in a logo...the rest is just nosense to me....
Bonojerry: Thanks so much. I agree, let's not make the existing logo the focal point. I'll change the contest parameters to a "NEW DESIGN" for the camp. I'll add the logo on the back or discretly on the front.
THANKS FOR SHARING!!
Another note:
Your existing logo is professionally done. When I look at it again and again, I think the problem is the basketball and the rectangle in the background. The rest of the logo would work beautifully if kept small, if it whispers. From that perspective, it is a beautiful logo.

So, theoretically, you can just have the Kings Kourt logo on the front, over the pocket. A totally new design, not incorporating the logo, could be put on the back of the shirt. I'm asking because your logo is too strong. Honestly, it is too strong to be a logo because it will overwhelm everywhere that it is used. There is too much detail. Because of that it is not memorable except for something like, oh yeah, Kings Kourt, that heavy logo with lots of stuff on it. Have you asked any of the "players" how they feel about the logo? Do you see people wearing the Kings Kourt 2006 tshirts? It's just my taste, but I always lean for logotypes that whisper, that are minimal, that don't get in the way. I don't mind broadcasting those logotypes as much. I always try to design a logo where, should a person find themselves wearing it, they will look and feel rich because of it. I don't get that feeling when I project your current logo.
Just my considered thinking on this.
Jerry
I'm new to this, so I apologize for being unclear. Hope this helps:
1- logo to be placed in the chest area of the shirt
2- size 6" x 6"
3- other info for shirt: Kings Kourt Kamp 2007
4- the shirt color will be white
THANKS!!
If you decide to go through with it, you'll either have to know how to put the logo in the proper place on whatever design you pick, or you'll have to provide a high-res transparent version for the designers to work with. Also, more information, like the color of the t-shirts to be printed, size of the design on the t-shirt (could be 3"x3" or anywhere up to 12"x12", or even an all-over design).
