Critique
We build Google’s code review tool for Google software engineers.
A code review is a process where a software engineer asks co-workers to review her code changes. They usually check the quality and structure of the source code, and appearance, such as formatting rules. Code reviews at Google may lead to long discussions between two or more engineers and include statuses like
- LGTM (“looks good to me”)
- “needs more work”
- FYI (“for your information”)
- Approved
Code review is a central part of collaborative, high quality software development.
Here is the Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_review.

The t-shirt should include the name “Critique”.
The t-shirt logo should reflect the aspects of improving code and collaborating.
Critique is the successor of Mondrian, the old code review tool. References to European culture and to European art of early 1900’s (the predecessor’s UI theme has been inspired by Piet Mondrian) would be cool.
Target audience are software engineers/programmers/geeks who work at Google. Of course it should be cool to wear outside work too.
We prefer a dark t-shirt.
