I think winner number 6) #271 dzeri29 should read 6) #217 dzeri29. A typo I assume and therefore not displaying the correct winning entry from the designer. Congratulations to all who won!

aresrosu, you could draw vectors in Photoshop too, but (well, at least to me) it's much easier to use Illustrator or CorelDRAW... ;)

Artg, really good idea! I think everyone who is using vector drawing programs knows how to do that, and it's the simpliest way to prove the originality of vector files.

I have used Adobe Photoshop for some of my designs, because it is easier for me. That is why I have designs in .psd format, not because i copied them.
    Good luck to all.

Yea a sample that shows only the outlines of the vector flattened onto one layer, So you would see like all black lines on a white background. Something that would help the CH know they are getting a true workable file which they can use to change as they see fit. It's simple if a CH wants 100% vector then that's what they are paying for. I wonder if a winning design can be disqualified for turning in a file other than what is wanted ?

thats a great idea, are you saying a sample that shows the outline preview only? something like that or show its evolvement, where the idea came from. Also if a designer is busted using copyrighted material they should be banned from this site, chances are they will do it again if there is no consequences. If the designer was held liable for the damages (costs)it would not be a problem. What they don't realize is how much is at stake. Printing is not cheap nor is replacing merchandise. It compromises the integrity of the entire site and every artist here.

In the future I think contestants could submit a sample of their design/designs just like above only with parts/colors deleted to prove they are in fact 100 % vector. Not only for t-shirt design contests but for any contests that require vector artwork.

aresrosu, if you can not 'turn' your 'design' into a vector file, then we would have to question the authenticity of the design even being your original work. Thank you

Today is the day the winners will be announced! We now feel confident of the designs we are about to declare as the winners. And yes, we wholeheartedly agree with 'intrepidguppy', that it would be a totally different ballgame if artists would face a possible lawsuit for 'selling' images that DO NOT BELONG TO THEM!
We believe the artists we are about to declare the winners ARE of honesty and integrity, and for that THEY will benefit from their work being 'advertised' to a broad spectrum of the market place and further themselves in their reputation and honesty and quality of their work and financially standing as well.

And so, by the close of day, the winners will be revealed... Stay tuned... Same Bat time, Same Bat Channel! LOL!

    With thanks,
    St Angelis

Well that guy #340 just joined in June, Or has multiple names here. You cant see a portfolio or other contests entered. I would say it would be best to stay away from this person since you can not authenticate their work or reputation for selling original artwork. Thats just my opinion.
