Please bear in mind, we said 3 designs "preferred". And no, we do not need to pay $100 for each design. If ultimately the winner has only provided 1 entry, they receive $200. If they provide 4 designs, they get $200.

The last contest we ran allowed up to 30 days. For some reason, this contest only allows for 10 days. We are still waiting for a t-shirt design that will really "wow" us.

If ultimately we do not choose a winner for this contest, and because the time left leaves short notice for anyone to get additional designs up, we are certainly interested in speaking with several of you offline in order to ultimately tweak the image/path we are after. @Tini1, my co-worker will actually be handling this contest, providing feedback, etc... as it is her department.

@Helix7. I extended the contest to 30 days. All I was requesting was a simple banner and after 30 days I felt the entries were not improving to the quality we were expecting. I have seen many of the logos done in these contests at Sitepoint and they have always been amazing, so I was expecting similar quality. I did not find that quality in our particular contest. I chose to close it for those reasons, which I feel were extremely valid.

I have been a member since 2003, so you are absolutely right I am no rookie, but I still felt it was justified in closing the contest. The Suspension was my fault simply because I forgot to check in on the contest for a week (completely spaced it). That won't happen with this contest.

Yes, 3 designs is what we are looking for because when we push the designs to production, we simply need more then 1 design to sell.

If $200 for 3 designs is too low, please do not enter the contest.

I did post a note about the header contest, look at the "summary" section on that link you just posted. I also did so on the detailed description view of the page. I will admit I should have posted a "comment" about it, and I didn't which I do apologize for. That was the first real contest I had posted, but now I know better with the proper etiquette.

Electronic Transfer was one of the checkboxes when filling out all the forms for this contest, I also assume this means PayPal or other forms. ChaCha will find the appropriate means to pay the contest winner.
