Awesome dcbpe---thanx again! I was somewhat concerned about the quality, so thanx for the good news. Hopefully our order will arrive just as smoothly. I'll look out for your #177 in the crowd :)

Wax Lily...FYI...my shirts from CafePress arrived yesterday, with my #177 on them. This was the first time I've ordered clothing, so i was interested to see what i got. the printing is nice quality, no different than a store bought shirt. And the shirt's themselves are all Hanes tagless high quality cotton.

I was pretty impressed...just thought you would like to know.

    Good Morning Patriots,

Thanks everybody for taking charge and correcting a situation that should have never occurred. We designers and contest supporters knew there were too many great concepts to choose just one and suggested selecting a variety of designs to appeal to everybody. I don't care who wins the contest... I want us as the Freedom Movement to win friends and influence voters and you guy's have produced a body of work and created a production/distribution solution to immediately make a complete line of promotional merchandise available to the people "TODAY".

I am very proud of what you have accomplished. I have suggested on the C4L blog that they create their own cafepress account where we all can post our designs in one place with ALL profits going to C4L. If I do not receive any communication from C4L by close of business today then I will give my designs to each of you that have invested in setting up a website on cafepress.

Revolutions are WON by REVOLUTIONARY ACTION!

Good luck and thank you for giving our fellow Patriots the choices they have been asking for.

    Waxlilly...

I uploaded my designs on Wednesday night specifically so that I could order it and have it in my hands before the Rally. If you do "regular" shipping, it will not come in time. Do either 1 day or 3-4 day time frame.

I splurged the $30 and used one day, and received an email today that my order has already shipped, with any luck I'll have it today or tomorrow. (It's not actually "one day", and 3-4 is more like a week)

I ordered some of my own bumper stickers, and used regular mail, and they took about 3 weeks.

    good luck

hey everyone, i've never actually purchased anything from cafepress before; Do you think any orders placed would arrive in time for the rally? If so, I'm loving this idea!

Congratulations Jon, and I look forward to buying a saphire lapel pin with your design on it as posted a few days ago.

Cafepress is a great website...my entry #177 is already uploaded and I've ordered a few shirts for myself.

I really thought it would be #169 (straightforward, and uses the logo elegantly).

But, for anyone interested I uploaded the eagle designs to CafePress:
    http://www.cafepress.com/creatingliberty/5897253

(unfortunately that benefits CafePress more than the Campaign for Liberty)

If anyone else starts a site, let me know.

ok i set up a CafePress store, if any designer wants to send me a raw of their design (i need the design with a transparent background preferably) ill add it to the store, everything's gonna be at cost since its petty expensive already, unless theirs some kind of unanimous force to up the price a bit so we can chip in to the C4L. email me at xrazorwirex@gmail.com if you want the design up there, and get with me on any suggestions you have. the store url is http://www.cafepress.com/C4Liberty

i too was kinda wondering about the whole R4R theme of the shirts, i thought the point was to get one solid design for the C4L in general, the R4R shirts would only be a one time (unless we do it each year, but we would obviously redesign them) thing. I'd expect another contest in the immediate future for general C4L merch.

....ouch... lets go put everyone elses designs up on cafepress.com or something and sell them at cost or with profits donating to the C4L (so they can afford new merch?! lol) Then if you really wanna get diy / grassroots: get some of these designs on paper, take them to kinkos and pool your money (or not) to buy fancy slimjims. i still have 150 ron paul for prez slimjims, i might try bleaching those or something and printing over them. lets throw some fertilizer on this grass.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked to see the winning design. I'm not trying to hate on Jon, but anybody I know could have thought of that. It's not very creative and anyone with no design experience could have created it. I'm not saying that mine should have been chosen, but it definitely merited more than two stars (#226). There were a lot of other designs that I would have picked before the winning design. I cannot make it to the rally, so I am going to change the text to promote Campaign for Liberty more broadly and have it printed on a t-shirt. If anyone is interested in having one, let me know if there are any improvements that you would like to see and I can fill you in with more details about printing. For all of you going to the rally, have fun and represent!

Congrats Jon! I think everyone did a great job.
As a small note of criticism.. I think price of production may have played to big of a role in this contest.
My personal choice would have been 212 on a white and red shirt and 213 on a blue or black shirt. Anyway this was cool and I am happy to have been a part of it.

    Peace

There's some good debate about the contest at the C4L website. They worked with the designers (two non-english speaking women whom Jon translates for) and made changes to the original design that was submitted for the contest. They're getting lot's of positive responses but people are upset that they didn't get a chance to vote since they're the one's who are going to be buying these tees.

Oh well, let's find a great site and go back to the drawing boards... our Patriots are asking for a wider selection of promotional materials and we're just the folks to make it happen.
