Well I have to say I'm sorry about this. I didn't actually mean to say the logo was stupid, they're just words I put before things when I'm a bit angry. Thanks for the comment though, and I do actually like the logo.
My point was, why would you submit a design without the actual logo? Who would pick it if it doesn't even use the contest holder's logo? That's the whole point of having a logo is you have an identity for yourself.. you don't just use a close approximation.
You are correct; it's your opinion. However, you are selling a product here. How does it sound to describe a part of someone's logo as "stupid" ? Personally, were I the contest holder I'd reject your logo for the fact alone that you're insulting my logo. Again, it's my design, and you're not hurting my feelings at all because again--an opinion is an opinion. I'm just stating MY opinion.

But you take it a step further, which is never the best thing to do. And I just realised what you just said, about the adjective, "stupid". I'm sure you took that out of context.
