The contest holder has extended this contest to 9 days.
There are still a few designers I have heard from, but haven't seen anything from yet. If you need more time, please let me know. I can extend the contest 2 extra days.
Thanks!
The contest holder has increased the prize from $200 to $230, fully prepaid to 99designs.
Good work thus far everyone. Keep it up.
There are a lot of good business card designs, but the main scope of this contest is the brochures. Only change the cards if you feel you need to match the brochure. I also see that a lot of you are stretching between the two - in an effort not to be cheap, I'm going to go ahead and bump up the prize slightly.
Just remember, the cards (if making them) need to be simple but eye catching. They must also translate well to print.
The brochures can be flashy, and it is nice if they are. Don't be afraid of gradients etc for the brochures, but keep them away from the cards.
Hope that helps clarify. I realize it's hard to work out of a design brief sometimes. Especially one as bad as mine.
Overall nice work. Keep it up guys!
(I like #4, #6, #7. #8 has promise, but not as a business card. I like the design though, it just doesn't fit for me.)
Yes, I'm sorry I should have been more specific. It's amazing what you forget to mention in a brief.
It needs to be a trifold, front and back. 6 pages. Hope that helps. Thanks!
Hola Avec...can you please elaborate on the brochure requirements? Size pages? Many thanks Giraffe
Got it. :)
To clarify, #2 is what I kicked it off with, #1 is too cluttered. Sorry for the mix-up
Nice response so far, keep it coming guys. #3 is looking nice, I prefer option B, because it looks more professional and more streamlined, but option A is also well done.
#2 looks a little too cluttered to me.
#1 Is the design that I submitted to kick this off, with just a slightly different color scheme and font.
I guess I should rephrase that. As long as the file is output in a format that is not rasterized, it should be ok. AI is preferable, but .eps or similar formats are also acceptable.
I'm not using AI.Is that means that I cannot submit a design?? :(
