If you don't do work on spec, you really shouldn't be at this site to begin with.
sorry, but this will be my first and last posit of an idea.
yes, i purposely didn't make the contest info "pop-out" and i do have this image (and one of yours) overlayed on tv/ipod screen. but, i don't do work ON SPEC - and any designer worth his/her salt shouldn't either. if you like where an idea is going, hire the designer.
i know this isn't the place, but at least some other entrant can run with the idea...good luck!

hi, i liked the idea of this contest and decided to join and try this out for the first time. as you can see at the bottom, the link to contest info is lengthy. i can sort of see why the other entrants put quite a bit of information in their ads. if you tell the prospect to go to powwows.com there's no link or eye-catching box for the contest. is there any way you can shorten the link to the contest info?
