Yes I received your messages. I do understand it took me almost 48 hours to contact you? What I want to do is work with a designer who will actually work WITH me. If there are any who are willing to do that then please contact me.

Brian I got your pm as well assuming I am "ignoring" you which I still am laughing at as well as being a bit irritated just the same. So far I had one designer "black_sense" talk down on the design choice and then the designer who won sending "where are you at" emails within 24 hours time.

What changed since it went from "design contest" at sitepoint to "99designs.com"?

At "black sense" - why the hostility? Just because it was not a ton of graphic work does not mean it is NOT an effective flyer does it?

Does it only take a ton of work and amazing graphics to get the message across OR does the amount of graphic work really matter? I think it is a blend myself.

Sure I could have gotten a black image and put text on it with a picture BUT where did I get the idea from? Why didn't you come up with it? it won didn't it and isn't that the entire point of this and NOT to simply talk down on those who post contests?

Not getting why you had to try and talk down on me due to the selection of others based on a group decision. I wrote which ones I personally liked as well BUT what YOU like does not matter. It is what US OVER HERE decide since WE are paying for it.

I have removed your "rants" as I will call them and hope no more are to come. Seriously grow up bud.

I want to thank everyone for their designs. There were 3 that were consistantly in the top 3 that I would like to talk with the other two on a possible price as well to get those designs as well or how that works....

It amazed me also that "simple" worked better then the others AND was something I was not expecting to be honest. I personally liked the styling of digital natures design the most and the "hometown" feel of Kari's as well. Most however thought the simple black design and a catch phrase design would generate more "Action" SO that is what I am going with.

Thank all of you for getting your designs in and I hope you all sign up for the next design contest I will be doing. It too is issue specific just another completely separate subject "gun rights locally"...

Brian please pm me your information so I can get your money order out to you. I can next day it if needed as well so I can get the design a.s.a.p., well its more the "ownership" of the design I think we pay for here more then anything.

I do love the ability to choose from designs that get created by different "styles" it can really help you define what it is you are looking for and sometimes don't even realize until all the entries are in.

They are all being looked over and discussed today and the winner will be decided tomorrow. I want to thank everyone who participated and hope you all put in a design idea for the next "flyer ad" design I need done as well.

I am very happy to see so many great designs so far. Kari thank you for the info as far as if there are any issues you would be happy to help out. That is always a good thing to know.

I would be more then happy to see any new creations from you as well kari and that does go for everyone else who have submitted flyer ideas already as well. This is a great cause and I think it will really generate alot of buzz right here in my little city.

Only thing that needs to be edited is the text itself. I dont want to give the url or any info due to the style of flyer it is. As far as graphics, I have none and so far people have given up their own ideas which is what I was hoping for. This is a grassroots effort and all I am hoping for is someone who believes in this "issue" and knows what I am looking for which many seem to.

On the text as far as editing - The text and url need to be able to be edited so I would assume those would just be simply text in ps and not "done up" to where they could not be edited after the fact.

I do agree on the resizing as well though. I have ps and can alter/edit, I just have ZERO creativity. Once I got the overall design I can work with it and be ok...

I don't see a problem with the text being an issue as long as it is kept as text in the file itself right? Not a pro... so not sure but I do need the ability to be able to edit the text/url and if that would take custom editing ie one letter at a time due to being turned into a graphic object then yes I would end up lost, as lost as I am with this sentence here as well....

The sponsors themselves too will need to be taken in and out because one sponsor might pay for one printing and then 3 might co-pay for another one so that too needs to be able to be moved in and out.

If there is not the ability for me to edit text or the url in ps with your design then odds are I can't use it.

I would be happy to work with the winner after the fact as well making sure it gets done correctly and so forth. Happy to reimburse for time spent as well after the fact. I just think this is a great effort that needs my help right here locally.

I hope to see even more designs before this ends....
