Black Dad Connection
We are a nonprofit/NGO focused on building parenting skills among Black families in the African American community.
Childcare
A book cover that we can use for both print and ebook. We will use the front cover for the ebook and the front and back cover for the print version. The book is titled, "Not Superdad." The authors name is Keith Devin Morton It is a humorous look at parenting from an African American point of view. We have the book on sale now, in ebook form at Amazon and Barnes & Noble but we are not happy with the cover that we have now. You can see the book at http://www.amazon.com/Not-Superdad-…80VCPO/ref
The cover should convey the challenge of becoming a father for the first time, in a humorous way. Illustrations are preferable to photographic images.
Here is a description of the book:
Keith Devin Morton's Not Superdad provides insight, advice and lots of humor on the struggles of raising an African American child in urban America. Not Superdad sets aside heroism and dispels myths about being a new Black Dad in America, showing that we don't need super skills to be a great Dad and Father. Keith Devin Morton shares his own experience from raising his son and navigating against the stereotypes of absent black fathers. Keith Devin Morton is Executive Director of the Malecare Black Dad Connection and a nationally renowned African American Parenting commentator. He has appeared in Time Magazine, been interviewed by the Associated Press, and has been heard on National Public Radio.
Be bold and original. Please avoid cliche images. Bright "super" colors are ok. The book is primarily directed at the African American adult male consumer. The cover should convey the challenge of becoming a father for the first time, in a humorous way. Illustrations are preferable to photographic images.
