Design brief

Organization name

Divine

Description of business

The product is based around the concept of “fine wine that will compliment all your spicy meals. “ (for example, Indian food).
We are planning a range of 2 to 3 wines (red, white and rose) to go with a range of Indian dishes.
The customers will be restaurants, grocery stores/supermarkets, liquor stores.

Organization industry

Food & Drink

Description

A label for a wine bottle. The idea is to render the impression of a quality wine.

Wine is considered a luxury good therefore it has to give the impression of something refined and high end.

The label has to clearly render the fact that it is the perfect wine to accompany spicy food. Whilst it is for spicy food generally, the main target is ideally Indian food (Indian food in the UK and later distribution in India).

We want to create a brand (like Coca-Cola is famous for its bottle, the colour and the logo), we are looking for a label that can then be adapted to different wines in the same range (i.e. start with a label for red wine that can be tweaked to progress to a white wine to then be used for a rose wine).

There should be a front label and a back label that goes with it.

No restrictions in terms of colour theme, size and shape of the label - this is where you can be creative. We want an innovative wine so that label has to match this with something different to the traditional.

Further requirements

The product is wine, whilst ideally it should appeal to young urban professional that enjoys wine but does not know a lot about matching wine with food... (it should come up as the perfect brand match/solution), it should attract as many people as possible (men and women from 25 years old onwards...)
