Industrial
A book cover for a book entittled Manufacturing and Logistics 2.1 that guides small to mid-market manufacturing and distribution companies on meeting the challenges and opportunities in the coming economic recovery.
The cover can be abstract and stylized for manufacturing using boxes and conveyors, etc., but watch out for overworked symbols like gears that show up everywhere and are pretty specific for mechanized businesses. Process industry representations with pipes and tanks are okay too and may help these industries feel less "left out" of the discussion.
I'm partial to black, soft gold and white and burgundy accents along with "industrial" gunmetal blue, but these details can go in the forms I'll be filling out.
These are just basic pix, I have clip art collections that could be useful too.
Decision maker(s) is C-suite Owner or Operations Manager or General Manager. Engineering weighs in, but doesn't decide, might actually be annoyed by the subject sometimes. Ages 33-63, collectors, outdoorsy, want to cut through the buzzwordy methods to do better, but want to stay up with the competition also. I'm aiming this at the small to mid market company in the $10M to $250 M range, though there could be exceptions. They are 75% male, 25% female with female proportion growing slowly. State u educated, belief in manufacturing as bedrock of enconomy, impatient with money flim flams, misdirected. There are both left and right leaning manufacturing trade associations that influence their thinking.
