Description of business

zero2hero is a Perth based not-for-profit organisation committed to the prevention of suicide.

Since 2009 we have hosted a variety events, raising funds and awareness that has contributed to the prevention of this issue. In 2012, we are focusing on the prevention of youth suicide.

We need for a poster/flyer for our next event being hosted at the Hackett Hall Foyer at the Western Australian Museum. This flyer is to attract 25-40 year old business people, and young professionals wanting to make a difference.

The details of the event are below:

Date: 27th October 2012
Time: 7:30- midnight
Venue: Hackett Hall Foyer, WA Museum, Perth Cultural Centre/228 James Street, Perth WA 6000
Attire: Cocktail

Further requirements

Further information (NOT REQUIRED ON THE FLYER) is:

Guests will arrive at 7:30pm for drinks in the foyer; here guests will enjoy a glass of champagne while enjoying variety of different art forms and entertainment including moving mannequins and acoustic live music. Guests will be encouraged upon entry to paint onto canvas with white paint, one word expressing emotion or feelings that they personally avoid or battle with. The idea is to express emotion but this will be private. The words painted with white paint (UV PAINT) will be hung towards the very end of the evening and the lights will turn off to display the variety of words written by each guest.
The remainder of the night will include a live band, a DJ later in the evening, food and drinks, auctions, and a raffle.

The night is designed to be a prestigious event on the Perth social calendar to raise funds and awareness for the prevention of suicide; the funds will also go towards zero2hero camps in 2013.
