Ok, so we wrote up a new design template with the final verbiage changes (See BASIC TEMPLATE - Ver.3.doc)

Can you both apply these verbiage changes to your next revision, please?

Also, notice in this Ver.3 document that two of the content blurbs have red font. One is the reference to our articles. And the other is our call to action and contact info.

It is in red just to call it to your attention. I don't care if it ends up being red in the final design... but these are the two things that we want to be visible, and not lost due to other color or nearby text.

I'll be watching the contest closely so I can provide you with any feedback as immediately as possible.

    Thanks!

So the two finalists have two very different design concepts.

What I am looking for at this point is some iteration on the designs for some slightly different looks.
And what I want above all is a clean & professional design. As if you were presenting this to Executive types.

One thing that might be cool will be to move the Workflow Rings image from the center, to the top right... next to a smaller, left-justified logo... I believe that would also free up some of the center space in the content region, and allow the Excel Schedule and Graph images (which are the more important images to be honest) to be a little bigger.

I'm not sure how to explain this, but maybe the logo on the left and slowly fade into a version of the Workflow Rings that is angled, as if you are looking at it on a piece of paper at a 30 to 45 degree angle. This of course, would probably require a redrawing of the workflow rings. Our image is rudimentary at best. This is just an idea I'd like to see if possible.

**Also important. Our "call to action" at the very bottom needs to be of larger font and more visible, maybe even highlighted against the background somehow so it's the obvious next step to the viewer. Not obnoxious as with a giant sunburst around it, but something to set it apart.

I can give more input as I see an iteration or two. If you have specific questions related to your design, please leave me a comment and I'll get back to you promptly.

Looking forward to seeing your work!

As I wrote my first feedback, some other designs are coming in under the wire. So i'll be waiting to provide a second batch of feedback in the next 2 hours. Thanks!

    General Feedback:

The giant logo on top is not to my liking... I'd rather have something smaller and left-justified, giving more space to the middle and bottom sections...

I also would like to use the Logo with the tagline... (the one with "because workflow matters"). Sorry for not being specific earlier. Then, with your superior design skills, to make something of the whitespace on the right side of the page -- like a blended image of the workflow rings or the Excel graph or something -- if it makes sense and looks good.

I also thought there might be some more blending of the sections, meaning not so blatantly separated. I'm speaking specifically of:
    1) the separation between logo and content of the middle sections
    2) the workflow rings in the center... I thought something more of a background image might do nicely rather than the center image as I see it in your initial designs.

Some visual appeal. To this point, only Design #3 is in the right direction.

My original mockup is the work of less than an amateur designer (me!). I am hoping your skills in design can look past what I've done and envision something far better. So do not be afraid to go outside the dimensions of the original brief in terms of layout and what not if you are so inclined.

I appreciate your efforts so far! And look forward to an iteration or two.

    Thanks!
