CH would it be possible for you to use the star ratings? I'm not getting a feel for what you like from all the comments, easier to establish with star ratings...

Firstly, I really appreciate your efforts.
You're right the #4 is cleaner and I also like the "Join now" & the "Cricket ball" in it.
I had picked #2 because it clearly divides the different things that kinda makes it clearer. Also I think the bold READ/MEET/RATE/EARN & is logo unneccessary. So you can try implementing the portion with tick (checkmark) in #4 and remove the logo ?
One of the reasons why I like the different aspects explained as you have in say #1/#2 & #3 or in my examples, is because I will also be able to launch those functionalities from those individual areas.
Also can you please use "Cricket" instead of "Sport" and as I have mentioned earlier, we dont have anything that lets people earn points so if you want you can replace it with other features like people voting on articles/blogs/gossip columns

I can remove the Earn part from the graphic.
Can you provide feedback on #4? It's a little smaller and cleaner looking.
If you like #2 better I can work on that.

Thanks for the participating in this contest. This is my first time on 99designs and I hadn't realized that you might be waiting for my feedback.
#2 Has a good design "Community for passionate fans" and the red font seems to attract attention. This is a good style (not something that I had in my mind but still good). Couple of things that I had noticed about this design was that a. the extra logo was not necessary b. There's nothing on the site that indicates that you will earn points and/or prizes (atleast yet) so that part is not needed & c. It seems to be taking extra space..this might be rectified by removing the "EARN" piece?
Another thing that is needed is something that will stress on inviting people & their friends to participate (since this is a crowdsourced platform)
#5 Is a clean presentation with a attention grabbing "Join" but it doesn't seem to fit with the logo..
#6 I liked making the design seamless with the logo & the "JOIN NOW" is definitely attention grabbing. However the line "Cricketoo allows you to build network...." is not something in my mind. Also the logo has been repeated in this one that might not be needed.
