Luci_ued - looking great. We're not big fans of the Lemon flavour color though. Could you play around with this please?

Thank you for the new submissions. A few things:

    • Luci_ued and Dario can we please see the remaining flavours for the tea range? We need to see the complete range of labels like #43 and #42. We won't be able to award the prize without seeing how the whole range works.

    • Luci_ued - the largest droplet on the front is a little distracting. Can we play with the size a little? this might give oyu more room for different placement of the product flavour. We'd also like to see a design from you that has a small clear element to it if possible.

    • Dario - the logo for Tea in a Bag isn't right. See #46 for colours. Tea word is the only thing that should change colour. See comments above.

    • Spirited One - the product flavours are very hard to read. Please take a look at this. We love the new leaves but would like to keep them green for all the products please. Please include the designs for the back labels also.

Hello I' Ryan - the product flavours are very hard to read. Please include the designs for the back labels also. Logo should not appear reversed out. It must appear on white as per all the other finalist designs here. We're not fans of the wavey tagline. Would prefer to see a straight up treatment in Myriad Pro.

Thank you!!! Will check in again in a 2-3hours.

    Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for the flurry of great designs! We've some beautiful ones come through. We've had some epiphanies thanks toy our submissions. We've left some individual feedback but would love for any revisions and future submissions to follow the brief and these new points:

    • Please include all products in the range of designs you submit. It's important for us to see how these work as a family.
    • We have decided that labels using a tint of colour won't work. The tea inside the pouches will distort the colour on the outside ie: the yellows will appear muddy as will the peach etc. So if you could submit the same designs but using solid colours that would be great. (Plus any additional tweaks we've requested of course).
    • Regarding the tea range, we've decided to keep the colours the same for the tea range. Please change only the colour of the word "Tea" to match the flavour's colour. "in a Bag" should remain the same colours as shown in the original logo lock up.

    • The tagline should be writtin in sentence case "Drink outside the bottle™." and should be navy like the word "Spring" on all products.

I think that's it. Hopefully I've replied early enough to give you time to submit your revisions. I will be checking periodically to give more feedback.

I can access the server but the connection disconnects once I open the folder. I would really like to enter this competition and i think i have a design that you would like. Is there any way that you could upload the files for me to access them?

Let me know if there is anything specific I can do to #16 & #17 to make them contenders. Thanks.

    Hi everyone,

There are a few things missing from the brief in some of the designs submitted. I will address these and the other questions below:

    • "Spring in a Bag" is the name of the spring water product and "Tea in a Bag" is the name of the tea product. We shouldn't have "Spring in a Bag" written anywhere on the tea product labels. It should say "Tea in a Bag".

We are happy to see just the word "Spring" change to "Tea" in our logo in order to make this happen. We are also happy to see a new colour scheme for the "Tea in a Bag" logo modification.

    • The label should be 15cm x 10cm but this size is approximate as ultimately it's going to be molded to the bag and not perfectly rectangle - see the vector art supplied. The magenta line represents the shape of the label, as most designers have done above.

    • We need the Tea in a Bag flavoured tea products to appear as though they are part of the same family of brands as the Spring in a Bag water product. The water product label should incorporate the colors currently in the Spring in a Bag logo. We need a new colour palette for our tea products drawing from whatever colour seems appropriate to communicate the flavour. Here is an example from Snapple:
    http://content.costco.com/Images/Co…07679b.jpg

These products all feel part of the same family. The labels are identical apart from colour and some key imagery. We would like you to start with our Spring in a Bag attributes and leverage these to create the sister tea product labels.

My apologies if the brief wasn't clear enough in this regard.

    • One thing we didn't specify, we cannot use imagery of fruit on our iced tea labels. We would require a certain percentage of fruit to be included in the product in order to include these images. In our testing we've found that real fruit actually impedes the best flavour for the product so we are only using a small percentage of real fruit in our teas.

    • The designs provided so far all show labels on the aluminium pouch. We did not have vector artwork of a clear pouch so the aluminium one was all we could provide. We would prefer to see all designs on a clear looking pouch rather than the aluminium one which is our second preference. If you're able to show a light blue effect for the clear Spring in a Bag water pouches indicating it is clear that would be great. And conversely a tea coloured pouch for the tea products indicating you can see through packaging. Any label design would be solid. There are some great design opportunities here to play with see through and solid negative space. We'd love to see some of these. I believe #15, #12, and #11 were intended to be this way. If you could please change the pouch colours to show through the appropriate liquid that would be great.

Thanks so much for your designs so far. We're looking to forward to seeing some more and to seeing some revisions of the existing designs based on this input. We believe there are some strong designs so far (particularly #15 and #2 with some corrections) and would love to see more!

Thank, again. Please don't hesitate to ask more questions if you have any.

    Sam
