WebSpy is a leading software developer of monitoring, analysis and reporting software for Internet, Email and Network usage.
In a near future we will add another product to our WebSpy portfolio. The product’s name is “SoHo" and it shows user the current and total Internet and network activity on a PC or a network.
WHY USE SOHO
When the Internet connection is slow, people want to know why. They’re not necessarily technical, but want to know what each PC on the network is up to. Is their network being over used?
SoHo will provide a cost effective and easy way for home users and small business to find out which computers are using the most Internet bandwidth, how much of their Internet quota has been used and by which PC, and it will also provide alerts when unknown machines are detected on their network.
WebSpy SoHo – Home & Small Network Dashboard
SoHo will be targeted towards home users and small businesses running a network with between 1-15 computers, that would like to monitor the Internet usage of each PC on that network.
We’re bored of regular looking software applications and want to create something vibrant and fresh that is a joy to look at and use.
The application consists of bar charts, line charts, pie charts and speedo charts all displaying either real-time or historical information about the traffic from each computer on your network. Each chart has some configuration options accessed via fly-in/slide-in panels.
We imagine the interface will have a darker background colour and colorful charts (think Tweetdeck & Adobe Lightroom), but we will also accept designs with light backgrounds as long as the overall appeal of the application is attractive and funky.

We want to see these concepts come to life with experiments in colour, translucency, borders, and even layout if your design calls for things to be moved around.
Unfortunately these mock-ups only show two items in the top two charts (a limitation in balsamiq mockup software). We would like to see deigns showing more than two items (the software will support up to 15).
We will provide quick and constant feedback so don’t hesitate upload your initial designs asap.
